Social Media Victims Law Center (SMVLC) is honored to congratulate our client, Kaley Glenn-Mills, on being named to the TIME100 Next 2026 list of the world’s most influential rising stars.
Kaley was only 20 when she stood up in a Los Angeles courtroom and testified about how social media addiction affected her mental health, beginning in grade school. A jury later found that Meta and Google acted with malice, oppression, or fraud and awarded her $6 million in damages. It took extraordinary courage to share that story publicly, and we are proud to stand beside her.
Kaley’s courage has given hope to families across the country whose children and teens have been harmed by social media addiction. She has shown that these companies can be held accountable and that young people and parents who speak up can change the conversation. To every family who has watched a child struggle and wondered whether anyone would listen: you are not alone, and legal recourse is available.
SMVLC remains dedicated to fighting for families impacted by social media harm, and we won’t stop until these companies are forced to make safer products for kids. If your child has been harmed, contact SMVLC for a free case evaluation.
