Madeline joined Social Media Victims Law Center in 2022 and has become a key member of the firm’s litigation team seeking to hold social media and AI products accountable for harms to children and families. She has worked extensively with minors and young adults impacted by a wide range of technologydriven harms, including anxiety, depression, selfharm, suicide, eating disorders, and sexual exploitation.

Madeline also served on the trial team in K.G.M. v. Meta, the first social media addiction case in the country to reach a jury – a landmark trial in which top tech executives, including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, testified under oath. The ruling against Meta and Google has been described as the tech industry’s “Big Tobacco moment,” signaling a shift toward meaningful accountability for algorithms intentionally designed to target and addict young users.

Before joining SMVLC, Madeline spent two years at Bergman Draper Oslund Udo and clerked for Waters Kraus & Paul in Los Angeles. These roles provided a strong foundation in complex litigation and corporate accountability, shaping her commitment to advocating for individuals harmed by powerful industries.

After graduating from law school, Madeline moved to Tel Aviv, where she served as Privacy Officer for a technology startup and developed dataprivacy policies. Her work in GDPR and global privacy compliance deepened her understanding of how technology companies collect, use, and monetize personal data – insight that now informs her litigation against social media and AI platforms.

Madeline is active in philanthropy and community leadership. She collaborates with government and civic partners to advance human rights, and serves on the board of the Seattle American Jewish Committee, where she works to combat antisemitism and bigotry.

In her free time, Madeline is an avid equestrian who competes in international show jumping. She also enjoys skiing, hiking with her dog Ari, and spending time with her family and friends.
