After a stint in insurance litigation, Sydney joined Social Media Victims Law Center in January of 2023. She has not looked back since. Sydney considers herself lucky to have the opportunity contribute to SMVLC’s mission of holding social media companies legally accountable. She hopes to use her legal expertise to, at the very least, help shed light on the stories of SMVLC’s clients.
Sydney attended Lewis & Clark Law School, graduating with honors and in the top 25% of her class. During her time in school, she served as a judicial extern for the Oregon Court of Appeals and a law clerk for a national trial firm. For two years, she worked as a research assistant learning the ins and outs of various complex litigation devices.
When time allows, Sydney enjoys snowboarding, cooking, and spending time with her cat, Kevin.
